Push/Pull is a collective of artist Natasha Russell and engineer Dan Kingston.
Natasha Russell is an artist, Illustrator and workshop facilitator with a particular interest in making public and participatory works. Dan Kingston is a 3D designer and maker who designs and installs a wide range of artworks in all sorts of unusual locations. As collaborators they explore playful ways of bringing the 2D to life in order to make work that interacts with people and surroundings, through combining decorative methods with interesting structures and mechanisms.
‘Hover’ s is a playful kinetic artwork that takes inspiration from traditional mechanical toys and from the surroundings of the glen. These painted birds are carefully balanced; designed to move with small changes in wind.
