Maya Hall de Bueno
‘Chrysalis in The Woods’ presents a series of enchanting felted woollen lanterns crafted from willow and wet felted sheep wool, taking on alien-like shell shapes that illuminate the night. Designed to connect naturally with the surrounding trees, these sculptural lanterns invite the audience to feel as though they are on the brink of entering a different realm. This artistic intervention aims to evoke a sense of wonder, as if the spectators have uncovered a hidden world beneath reality, creating an immersive experience that captivates and inspires.
